Attendance leapt 19 per cent to more than 1.4 million for the quarter, helped by an earlier Easter, while guest spending rose 13 per cent to US$38.95 person, up from $34.44 previously.

Meanwhile, the parks division of Anheuser-Busch, which operates nine parks including SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica and the two Busch Gardens sites, has posted a 12.8 per cent increase in combined net income and 3.6 per cent in visitor attendance at its recent annual shareholders meeting.
