P&P Projects specialises in turnkey projects for the entire leisure industry. For more than 20 years, the Netherlands-based company has been realising complete projects for several organisations across the industry, from museums and visitor centres to theme parks and family entertainment venues.
P&P’s business is divided into four major units – theming and scenery; interactive exhibits and animatronics; high quality interiors; and specialist solutions and scale models.
Over recent months, the group has been involved in a number of high-profile projects, including Europa-Park’s newest ride, Iceland. P&P Projects was commissioned to develop the majority of the scenery in the waiting and launch area of the new roller coaster, which drives visitors slowly through energy-mining scenery with several animatronics, light and water effects.
In addition to the Iceland project, P&P has been awarded an exclusive contract to realise a themed experience at the Nürburgring. The famous German motorsport track is developing a new boulevard and P&P is responsible for the total theming production of the dark rides, a large theatre, race simulators, pit boxes and car replicas.
Group subsidiary P&P Project Development was founded two years ago when the company was asked to get involved in the Odysseum at the design stage. Realising that a successful attraction involves much more than just theming, the owners of the German science park asked P&P to design and co-ordinate the project.
Since that time, P&P Project Development has worked on many design projects at very early stages as an independent consultancy.
P&P Project Development has also been involved in the design work for the newest parade of the iconic Lotte World in South Korea, including the complete design of all floats and elements in the parade, music, choreography and costume design.
