Puxton Park near Bristol is the latest UK venue to add an attraction from Ropes Courses Inc and its local representative Innovative Leisure.

Opened in time for the Easter holidays, the new installation comprises both a Sky Trail high ropes course and a Sky Tykes junior ropes. It represent an investment of over £300,000 ($420,000).

Covering an area 25.7m x 14.7m and taking participants to a height of 6m, the Sky Trail course can be enjoyed by visitors 1m tall if accompanied by an adult or 1.2m and above unaccompanied. It is therefore ideal for the family market the venue caters to, providing the perfect shared experience.
Featuring a wide variety of fun, challenging elements which test users both physically and mentally, the Puxton high ropes course also incorporates two elements which appear for the first time on a UK course – a rolling log and a wobbling wave tunnel.

Among other features, it also features a walk the plank element, which sees guests step out over the park’s narrow gauge railway (as seen above). The course has been built as a single level structure but with the capacity to add a further level in the future if the operator decides to expand the attraction.

The adjacent Sky Tykes junior course is pitched at children aged two to seven, who are able to enjoy it unaccompanied or with parents walking at their side. The combined attraction is included in the price of admission to Puxton Park.

“Visitors were queuing up hours before it opened in the hope to be the first to try out the exciting new course,” notes Puxton Park managing director, Alistair Mead. “We expect our membership numbers to increase massively with the addition of this exciting new attraction.”
