Registration is now open for this year’s IAAPA Expo Europe. The event is being held on 16 – 19 September 2019, at the Paris Expo Porte De Versailles in Paris, France.

With more than 550 exhibitors across 16,000 net square metres of exhibition space, the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions’ Expo in Paris will feature the largest show floor in the history of the event.

More than 15,000 professionals from the entertainment, tourism and leisure sectors, from more than 100 countries, are expected to attend what is the largest international conference and trade show for the leisure and attractions industry in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.

Attendees will have the chance to participate in in-depth learning and education programs, with the IAAPA Expo putting on more than 100 hours of education sessions. Topics will range from team management and leadership to guest experience, design, marketing and much more.

The Expo will feature a two-day development course known as the IAAPA Institute for Attractions Managers at Disneyland Paris. The program is aimed at equipping those within the sector striving for management roles with the relevant knowledge and drivers for success.

Another key program will be the IAAPA Safety Institute on September 16. The session is focused on providing attraction owners and operators with the opportunity to learn about best practices and latest developments in attraction safety standards, risk management, loss prevention, ride design and safety compliance.

The educational programs offered at IAAPA Expo Europe 2019 are eligible for credit towards IAAPA Certification, the global attractions industry’s official mark of professional achievement.

Asides many opportunities to learn more about the industry, there will be plenty of special events taking place and networking possibilities in Paris.

On 17 September the Opening Ceremony will be held, featuring entertainment and updates on the latest news and developments in the industry.

An Opening Reception will also take place on 17 September at Paris’ thriving amusement park, the Jardin d’Acclimatation, where industry peers from around the world will gather to network and share stories and insights.

Other key highlights include a Leadership Breakfast, featuring Puy du Fou’s president Nicholas de Villiers, two Lunch and Learns sessions, the Future of Disneyland Paris by the park’s president, Natacha Rafalski, a Watepark Forum, and a Young Professional and Student Forum and Reception, to mention just several.
