The new look Egyptian themed area at Legoland Deutschland will feature two new rides when it opens to the public at the start of the season on April 6.

Spanning approximately 10,700 square-metres, Land der Pharaonen replaces the former Reich der Pharaonen at the park in Günzurg, Bavaria.

New for 2019, Pyramid Rallye is an interactive attraction similar to the Fire Academy rides seen at other Legoland parks. Groups of four will be taken on an adventurous trip to the pyramids. In order to secure his treasures, the pharaoh Amset-Ra has started a fire in the temple buildings. Legoland Deutschland guests must extinguish the blaze to banish the fire magic of the pharaoh.

Meanwhile on Desert X-kursion, visitors will be invited on a balloon ride in which they must evade flying mummies by controlling how high the balloon flies. Also featured in Land der Pharaone will be Temple X-pedition, the park’s existing Egyptian-themed interactive dark ride.
