Development of Rulantica, a new, 450,000sq.m extension to Europe-Park in Germany is now in full swing, with the project expected to open by the end of 2019.

The elaborate Nordic-themed park will feature 25 exciting water attractions for the whole family. It will be accompanied by a new hotel.

In the approximately 32,500sq.m meter indoor area, water enthusiasts can expect eight exciting theme areas, open throughout the year.

Attractions will include 17 waters slides, Germany’s largest indoor wave pool, a lazy river and various activities for younger visitors.

Rulantica represents the largest single investment by the Mack family, owners of Europa-Park.

“The expansion of our overall offer and the realisation of this unique water world is an important step towards securing the future of the location,” said park owner, Roland Mack.

“This lighthouse project not only provides a positive impulse for tourism development, but at the same time creates 550 new jobs and increases leisure value for the local community.”
