Following the opening of Europa-Park on May 29, Rulantica, the indoor waterpark at Europa-Park, reopened its doors on June 10.
The Scandinavian-themed waterpark opened in late 2019, with nine themed settings and 25 water attractions, including a huge wave pool, a heated outdoor swimming pool, and 17 slides. Together with the 4-star ‘Krønasår’ hotel, the new 450,000 mt. sq. waterpark has been the biggest investment in Europa-Park’s history.
A series of health and safety measures have been introduced to help ensure the safety of visitors and staff. These measures include a daily limit of the number of guests, mandatory observation of social distancing markers, regular cleaning and disinfecting, educating guests about health and safety protocol prior to arriving at the park, powerful ventilation systems in the water, and intensive employee training about protection measures.
Roland Mack, Europa-Park’s owner, commented on the reopening of the waterpark: “We are very confident that we will be able to build on the successes of the spring when we re-open Rulantica. The online ticket purchase has already had a great start. The team of Rulantica is well prepared and looking forward to welcoming guests again!”
