Sacoa is enjoying continued success in the US, as amusement operators across the country realise the benefits of the Argentina-based company’s cashless payment system.

Following the successful installation of the Sacoa Playcard System at the first Santikos Theatres venue, The Palladium AVX in Richmond, Virginia, in May 2015, the system was deployed at five additional locations in Texas during the fourth quarter of 2015.

Accoridng to Sacoa, two more Santikos locations were completed during January of 2016, and the company is currently preparing to deploy its cashless payment system at another Santikos-branded venue in March.

All Santikos locations are equipped with Sacoa’s ‘all-in-one’ ColorShot HDT readers, with full HD 3.5-inch touchscreen display and dual head magnetic stripe reader, as well as Sacoa’s unattended kiosks for the sale and recharge of Playcards.

With Sacoa’s automatic roaming feature, guests are able to use the same Santikos card at any theatre location.

Dan Fonseca, Gaming Manager in charge of the company’s amusement expansion at all properties, felt very at ease and comfortable with the level of support, to the point of preferring Sacoa´s people in place despite being qualified to do their own installation, and was excited about the transformation to cashless payment.

“The card swipers look great and the kiosk interfaces are easy to use,” said Santikos gaming manager, Dan Fonseca.

In the fourth quarter of 2015, Sacoa installed its ColorShot HDT readers at numerous venues across the US, including Fiesta Village Family Fun Park in Colton, California; Kokomo’s Family Fun Center in Saginaw, Michigan; Crystal Bees in Southington, Connecticut; and The Lightning Bug in Mars, Pennsylvania.
