SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment has increased ticket prices at its Florida theme parks, though the company stopped just short of matching recent increases at rival parks Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando.

The company, which has battled falling attendance this year, has also introduced several promotions and ticket options in hopes of luring more repeat visits in 2011 – including offering an extra three months of admission with any annual passes purchased before January 2.

"We survey our guests constantly, and the overwhelming majority are telling us the parks continue to be a great, great value," said SeaWorld spokesman Nick Gollattscheck.

The changes, he said, are also designed to provide "additional value" to the company’s annual passes.
