Adventure Park in Geelong Victoria, Australia is playing host to an immersive winter festival, with snow, lights, fire and ice.

The festival will be home to a huge snow play zone where children can build snowmen and snow angels. Local artists will hand-carve sculptures made from ice. Visitors will be able to witness daily fire displays and the park will come alight at night with hundreds of glittering installations and two million lights.

A number of rides and attractions will be available for guests to ride on including, the Ferris Wheel, Wave Swinger, Crazy Coaster, Red Baron, Carousel and Little Buggy ride.

There will also be marshmallow toasting, cookie decorating, face painting and other children’s activities, while parents and adult visitors will be able to warm up with mulled wine, spiced cider and hot chocolate.

Leanne Salmon, Adventure Park managing director, commented on the forthcoming event:
“We’ve created an event with activities that we know our own kids would love to see and enjoy.

“We felt the winter needed some fun to brighten it up and created the Winter Glow to give other families something to look forward to while the park would usually be closed for winter,” Salmon added.

Adventure Park’s Winter Glow event is running from June 25 until July 10, 2021.
