Swimplex Aquatics, providers of products for the commercial pool and water slide industry, has been working on a range of new projects across Australia and New Zealand.

The company has been working on the Pimpama Sports Hub in Queensland. The site will feature a range of educational and recreational programs and will be facilitated by Swimplex’s Myrtha swimming pools. These include a learn-to-swim pool, an Olympic pool, and a heated indoor pool.

Swimplex has also been working on Parramatta Aquatic and Leisure Centre in New South Wales. The $88.6m aquatic centre will also feature Myrtha pool and will include a spa to provide guests with a therapeutic and relaxing experience.

Swimplex is also collaborating with St Catherine’s School in NSW to redesign their swimming facilities by installing two pools, complete with heating and filtration.

Another project the swimming pool and waterpark specialists have been involved with in recent months in Australia and New Zealand include the Metro Sports Facility in New Zealand, which will use Myrtha technology for its pools.

Waterparks Australia/NZ will also be upgraded with five innovative hydro slides. These will include New Zealand’s first ever trapdoor water slide, known as the Looping Rocket.
