Triotech’s award-winning XD Dark Ride interactive theatres are taking the attractions world by storm.

Anchored by its deployment at Pier 39, San Francisco, California, which earned the company its very first Brass Ring Award from IAAPA, operators worldwide have invested in this Triotech attraction.

In 2016 alone, more than 20 of Triotech’s XD Dark Ride interactive theatres have been deployed over the world.

“This strong momentum continues and is very obvious in family entertainment centres and for location-based entertainment where established operators are investing in interactive media-based attractions,” stated Gabi Salabi, vice president of sales and business development at Triotech.

“The ability to change the media content is the game changer for operators and ultimately guests who get to enjoy a new, repeatable shared experience among their friends and families.”

Deno Vourderis, co-owner of Deno’s Wonder Wheel Park, said: “We were very particular when looking for a new attraction to put under our landmark ride, the Wonder Wheel in Coney Island. The XD Dark Ride has been the perfect addition. Everyone who exits the ride comes out with a smile.”

“What is of particular benefit from a Triotech attraction is the return on investment that we can generate as an operator,” said Bucky Mabe of Face Amusement Group, which opened a Triotech attraction at Orlando’s i360, a fast burgeoning hub of entertainment, in addition to operating two others in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

Triotech’s growing library of interactive content for the XD Dark Ride has steadily grown to eight films, the latest of which, Werewolves, will be presented at this year’s IAAPA Attractions Expo.
