Triotech, creators of immersive and interactive attractions for the entertainment and leisure sectors, has created a new attraction designed to transform entertainment spaces into tailored flying theatres.

‘The Flyer’ opened in San Francisco in January 2019 and takes guests soaring above the Bay Area’s most iconic landmarks and biggest attractions, witnessing views that cannot be experienced in any other way.

The Flyer can be customised to an operator’s specific requirements, space limitations and expected customer traffic.

Triotech’s immersive flying theatre experience will enable riders to discover big cities, ride above the ocean and well-known places in a unique, thrilling and immersive way.

Ernest Yale, Founder and CEO of Triotech, describes how The Flyer works:

“For The Flyer – San Francisco, we used a romantic storyline to enhance the guest experience. And as we use motion seats, as opposed to platforms that are used by other technologies, each guest experiences a thrilling, realistic, and immersive ride.

“This type of attraction could definitively become popularized across many global cities as a new form of sightseeing, similar to the obligatory hop-on hop-off bus tour or sightseeing cruise.

“And Triotech’s solution to flying theatres, as it doesn’t require complex lift systems, allows them to be created in urban spaces that many times have confined barriers and can be tricky to work with, such as the remodelled theatre space at Pier 39.”
