ATRAX, the leading trade show in Turkey for the entertainment, park and recreation sector, has hosted its seventh exhibition.
The 2019 Exhibition introduced the latest innovations and newest trends in the attraction parks and recreation industry, designed for municipalities, hotels, shopping malls, corporations, investors, housing project companies, organisers and more.
Sponsored by Outdoor Factory and Polin Waterpark, the seventh ATRAX Exhibition was aimed at helping stakeholders in the industry move forward with innovative and exciting new ideas.

This year’s ATRAX Exhibition had a “Happy Cities” theme, highlighting how people’s lives are shaped by the mentality of the city they live in and how the spirit of a city can directly influence residents’ happiness and wellbeing.
The Exhibition featured a series of conferences, which brought together industry leaders, academicians, local governments, society presidents, directors of organisations, institutions and universities, discussing issues related to the ‘Importance of Building Happy Cities’ and the ‘Impact of Entertainment and Recreation on the Happiness of City People.’
ATRAX 2019 also featured a ‘University Special Section’ competition, which offered rewards and incentives to the universities that put the best ideas forward in relation to creating ‘Happy City’ projects.
Like previous ATRAX Exhibitions, the 2019 event showcased a Gala Night and Shining Star Awards Ceremony. The ‘Shining Star Awards’ are organised with the goal of encouraging new projects and creating awareness in the industry by rewarding successful projects.
The awards ceremony presented 20 different awards to winners chosen by a panel of 19 experts from the sector, as well as academicians and society presidents.
