Developers of a proposed US$8m Wet ‘n’ Wild theme park in Sydney, Australia, submitted a preliminary report to the region’s planning agency last week.

Village Roadshow’s preliminary environmental assessment report marks the first formal step in the planning process for the park, which is set to be located approximately 40km to the west of Australia’s metropolitan hub.

Wet ‘n’ Wild Sydney is billed by the media conglomorate as being a world-class facility, that would feature Australia’s biggest man-made beach and wave pool.
