Blackpool Pleasure Beach is giving visitors the opportunity to experience the tallest rollercoaster in Britain like never before, with the Walk the Big One XL experience.
The experience takes guests on a guided tour of the 235ft. Big One rollercoaster, renowned for its legendary twists, turns and drops.
Participants will climb the 420 steps to reach the top of The Big One and will have the chance to explore the ride’s maintenance area to gain a better understanding of how the rollercoaster works. Guests will also be able to climb up two new points on the ride, where they can enjoy unique views of the rollercoaster and listen to fascinating facts and stories about the iconic The Big One.
Andy Hygate, director of operations at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, commented on the new experience: “Walk The Big One XL will take our guests to parts of the ride they will never have been to before, and experience unique views of the ride and surrounding areas. Having tried the walk myself, I can definitely say that it’s something that all fans of Blackpool Pleasure Beach will love to take part in.”
Visitors will have the chance to experience Walk The Big One XL on April 29, May 6, and June 17.
