WhiteWater has announced over 70 project openings in 23 countries worldwide ahead of the 2022 season.

In addition to water parks and theme parks, these openings include venues such as hotels and resorts, municipalities, and large residential communities, involving WhiteWater’s broad range of products and services from water slides, water play, water rides; artificial surf, architectural design, and software as a service.

These projects come on the heels of a naturally challenging two years for the industry.

Its plans for attractions in Europe include unveiling a new Center Parcs in Domaine des Landes de Gascogne in France featuring slides in its indoor water park. This would include Europe’s first Parallel Pursuit and AquaPlay 750, all themed to fit its brand of green family leisure. It is WhiteWater’s second project with Center Parcs.

Westward in Spain, the municipality of Villanueva de la Cañada will open a new mat racer. Meanwhile, Great Yarmouth will open a Marina Centre with leisure facilities, including water slides and AquaForms 200, WhiteWater’s modular water play structure system.

Openings in Asia Pacific, concretely China, include OCT Hunan to continue making waves with the opening of Hengyang Maya Playa Water Park this summer. WhiteWater will supply 12 attractions, from water coaster to kids’ slides to AquaPlay 1050. This represents the 11th OCT park with WhiteWater products.
