After setting up office in Bangkok last year, WhiteWater Southeast Asia (WW-SEA) has announced the signing of numerous waterpark services agreements in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Philippines and Bahrain.

A subsidiary of WhiteWater West, one of the world’s leading suppliers to the waterpark sector, WW-SEA has the ability to draw from the 600-strong team of specialists from their Canadian headquarters.

Asia-based owners and investors now have a management company, with design capability and attraction manufacturing and installation expertise, with a locally-based team to co-ordinate and provide operational oversight and manage waterpark operations upon opening.

“We are happy to establish ourselves so quickly in the region,” said WW-SEA CEO, Chris Perry. “We are working on, what will be, world-class waterparks, with well-established partners and are excited to share the details when the time is right.

“We see enormous development opportunities across Southeast Asia and the regions that sit close by. It is an exciting time for our industry here.”
