Brazil's Beach Park took top honours at the 2013 World Waterpark Association's WWA Show in West Palm Beach, Florida, earlier this month.

Competing in the Wave Review Competition, Beach Park was recognised in three categories and awarded Best Radio Commercial, Best Print Media and Best YouTube Campaign.

Situated on the beach of Porto das Dunas in the north Brazilian city of Fortaleza, Beach Park ranks among the top 20 waterparks in the world and is Latin America's largest aquatic complex.

It was also recently named Best Theme Park by Brazil's Viaje e Turismo magazine and the number-one amusement park in Latin America by TripAdvisor.

"We are honoured to be recognised in three categories this year by the World Waterpark Association," said Beach Park general manager, Murilo Pascoal.

"Our creative and marketing teams really strive to communicate the essence of family, fun and the Brazilian culture in every aspect of our campaigns and that resonates with the nearly one million people who visit Beach Park annually."

Beach Park's creativity and marketing have consistently been recognised within the waterpark industry. In 2012, the resort won Best Print Media and, in 2011, it was awarded best email campaign and best television commercial by the WWA.
