The monster will be let loose on the public very soon with final preparations made for the opening of Dorney Park’s new Dive Coaster Iron Menace.

The Pennsylvania amusement park welcomed journalists to a media event as the anticipation grows as tall as the 160-foot-tall Bolliger & Mabillard Dive Coaster.

The roller coaster will feature four inversions and race around to a top speed of 64mph.

The countdown is on to the opening of not only the ride, but Dorney Park, taking place on 10 May.

However, Passholders with a season membership will get first dibs on riding Iron Menace during Preview Days on Preseason Preview Days from 27 and 28 April and 4 an 5 May.

Iron Menace will look to build on its promise to ‘forge your own fate’ and let destiny take hold of thrilled riders.
