The British Airways i360 will be rebranded as the Brighton i360 this 1 November.

The new name for the observatory tower along the Brighton coast brings an end to its partnership with British Airways, which started in 2016.

Originally costing £46 million, the tower will ring in the changes such as greater signage, new staff uniforms and a new lighting scheme for the tower and pod.

Resident Members of Brighton i360 can sample a special event on the day of its relaunch on 1 November.

Julia Barfield, one of the architects and Chair of Brighton i360, said “The i360 was conceived to give a new perspective and appreciation of the city and its surroundings.

“I am absolutely delighted that with our change of name we are becoming even more about Brighton.”
