Fairytale Farm’s Illuminated Evenings have unveiled plans for its 10th anniversary of its lights festival.

The illuminated experience is set to return on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 October to 27 November accompanied by new attractions and eco-friendly lights.

Farm owner, Nick Laister, says: “Our illuminations return bigger and better for 2022. We have numerous new illuminated features this year, including a Musical House, a creature rising from an illuminated pond and a huge T-Rex! I am sure this will make our 2022 the most memorable display we have ever put on.”

Fairytale Farm’s illuminations is the previous incarnation of the Oxfordshire light show, which started in 2013 and designed by former Blackpool Illuminations boss Richard Ryan. New sections have been added each year to make this 10th display the most spectacular.

With the current energy crisis, Nick Laister explains that a significant investment in energy saving lights has been made: “This year the Fairytale Farm lights will be more energy efficient and eco-friendly than previous years as we have replaced large sections of the display with LED bulbs, which are the most efficient way of generating light available.

“Not only will the display use less energy to run than previous years, it will also be brighter and more colourful, so we are really excited for you to see them.

Guests visiting Fairytale Farm will be able to see the Giant’s Camera, The Extinct Band, Giant Party Poppers, and Light Fountains illuminated as well as walk through the Tunnel of Light and watch the Dancing Water Fountains with an accompanying light show.
