Football meets theme parks as one of the world’s most famous football clubs Real Madrid opens its first theme park: Real Madrid World.

The emirate’s theme park opened on Tuesday, 9 April and promises a thrilling experience for all Madridistas and football fans alike.

Located within Dubai Parks and Resorts, Real Madrid World will host more than 40 themed experiences and attractions, including the region’s first wooden roller coaster, the world’s tallest amusement ride, a trophies arena, themed restaurants and retail stores.

Real Madrid World will consist of three themed areas: Champions Avenue, Celebration Plaza and Stars Avenue.

Fernando Eiroa, CEO of Dubai Holding Entertainment, said, “Dubai Parks and Resorts is the first theme park destination worldwide to announce a major partnership with Real Madrid. The world’s first and only Real Madrid-theme park celebrates the world’s love for sports and theme parks, presenting a unique adventure that has never been done or seen before.”

A host of attractions and experiences are on offer at Real Madrid World including Hala Madrid Coaster, which is the region’s first wooden roller coaster. A ride which will evoke Real Madrid’s ’emotional’ and ‘high-energy’ journey with the European Cups.

Meanwhile, Stars Flyer is the tallest amusement ride globally at 460ft and is dedicated to the club’s stars.

At White Hearts, fans will experience a walkthrough exhibition celebrating the past, present, and future of the club, offers interactive experiences and transforms guests into ‘Madridistas’.

The Bernabéu Experience is a theatrical interpretation providing exclusive access to special spaces within Santiago Bernabéu stadium, including the locker room and centre of the pitch.

La Fabrica training pitch is a playground for all ages with football balls and mini-training equipment for children to train like the club’s football stars.

Hands Up! is a drop tower invites fans to raise the Victory Cup “together” with the team.

Away from the rides, there will be football training camps and programmes offering exciting experiences for guests aged six and above, combining learning, teamwork, and fun through warm-up sessions, learning tricks, and team-based games.

There will be more than 15 daily sets, featuring football freestyle street shows and full-cast performances, will entertain visitors.

And at Hala Madrid Restaurant, guests can tuck into a dining option combining Spanish flavours.
