A new consultancy has launched to help leisure destinations optimise their visitor experience and increase profits.
The team at Aqualand Industries has launched the service to help clients design visitor attractions and operate them profitably. Experts will help specify and design tracks for electric buggies and pedal carts. Advice on vehicle operation, health and safety, and team training is also available.
Aqualand Industries has built a wealth of experience over decades in helping companies ranging from world-famous zoos to international holiday park groups and privately owned glamping sites. It is now launching a consultancy offer to help a broader range of firms access the expertise.
Commenting on the launch, Carl Byford, general manager of Aqualand Industries, said: “We’ve learnt a lot of lessons over the years, and we can bring this experience to bear on a wide range of projects. The leisure industry works to tight deadlines where changes can be made to destinations in the off-season. It’s essential to have an effective plan in place to deliver projects on time and budget.
“Our service is focused on providing the planning support to ensure the guest experience is optimised and attractions run profitably.”
The Yorkshire-based company supports a diverse clientele, from large operators like Haven to smaller independent glamping sites, by providing child-friendly six-wheeled Crazi-Bugz, Adventure Trukz electric carts, and Adventurer pedal carts. Despite the export challenges post-Brexit, overseas orders have surged, with new customers in Denmark, France, and Ukraine.
Aqualand Industries manufactures all of its products in the UK at its dedicated R&D and manufacturing facility in West Yorkshire. It partners with leisure destinations to help them drive additional revenue. It offers leasing, full purchase, or a mixture of both to provide operators with the flexibility they need to introduce a range of products. It also provides maintenance and service to its customers for its products.

Since the 1970s, the team behind Aqualand Industries has designed and manufactured a broad spectrum of critical service, high-specification mechanical engineering solutions. Recently, it has expanded into developing innovative products to bring to the leisure market.
Aqualand Industries is backed by Venturian, a private family-owned funding and investment group founded in 2015. It works with early-stage businesses looking for venture capital, SMEs requiring growth investment, management buy-outs, and cutting-edge technology businesses.
Aqualand Industries will attend the IAAPA Expo in Amsterdam from 23 to 27 September. Experts will be available to discuss projects on stand 14-928.
