The Zamperla-created Top Thrill 2 remains closed at Cedar Point following maintenance servicing. However, the park’s Director of Communications, Tony Clark has revealed optimistic news on the ride’s return.
“We’re working on it. We are inching closer to an update. This isn’t a summer-long thing, this is a temporary thing.”
Clark said the ride’s manufacturer Zamperla is at the park and hopes to have some good news soon.
No specific problem was announced but the wheels on the rides’ vehicles are not fitted on as present.
When it reopens, riders will be once again thrusted up its 420-foot tower with three separate forwards and backwards launches.
