The centenary of Disney is to be acknowledged celebrating its 100 years through a magical museum.
Disney100: The Exhibition was recently opened at The Franklin Institute with two special VIP guests in attendance: Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, who naturally attended the grand opening in Philadelphia.
It is a museum four years in the making and covers 15,000 sq.m in all.
The museum is home to 250 different objects depicting Disney’s history through a voyage into the chronologic life and times of how Disney has evolved and remains a favourite with visitors worldwide.
Its galleries include Peter Pan’s Flight attraction ride vehicle, Disney film memorabilia and images from all Disney parks across the world.
On the Disney MagicStage gallery, guests will see a message from Disney’s father, Walt Disney.
Composer Steve Mazzaro, who has worked on several Disney projects and films, curated an original soundtrack for the exhibition.
