Hersheypark, Pennsylvania’s largest amusement park, has officially announced the upcoming addition of the ‘Twizzlers Twisted Gravity’ attraction, set to debut in summer 2025. This thrilling new ride will become the world’s tallest Screamin’ Swing, offering an adrenaline-pumping experience that defies gravity.
A Record-Breaking Adventure
The ‘Twizzlers Twisted Gravity’ ride promises to be a must-visit for thrill-seekers, with a one-minute and 10-second journey that takes riders to a towering height of 137 feet. As the pendulum swings, guests will reach speeds of up to 68 miles per hour, experiencing multiple zero-gravity moments as they soar above Spring Creek in the Hollow region of Hersheypark.
Unique Theming and Design
Manufactured by S&S Worldwide, this new attraction is inspired by the popular Twizzlers candy brand, adding a sweet twist to the park’s lineup. Riders will have the opportunity to sit in one of four themed zones on the gondolas, each featuring a different flavor design: **Twizzlers Strawberry, Cherry, Hershey’s Chocolate, and Black Licorice.
Hersheypark is known for its unique blend of candy-themed attractions, and the Twizzlers Twisted Gravity ride is set to enhance this tradition. Visitors can also enjoy a selfie with the Twizzlers Character, measure themselves as part of the Twizzlers height category, and ride the Twizzlers-themed train on the Candymonium hypercoaster.
Expanding Hersheypark’s Thrill Ride Portfolio
“We are thrilled to introduce the Twizzlers-branded Screamin’ Swing to our ride collection next summer,” said Vikki Hultquist, Vice President of Hersheypark & Entertainment Operations. “Twizzlers Twisted Gravity will offer our guests the ultimate thrill ride experience combined with stunning views of our park’s 121 acres from a record-breaking height.”
More Than Just a Ride
The ‘Twizzlers Twisted Gravity’ will be a year-round attraction, available for visitors during all four seasons, weather permitting. It will join Hersheypark’s impressive lineup of over 70 rides, along with a water park and a zoo, all included with general admission.
