Cedar Point has announced Friday that Top Thrill 2 will not reopen for the 2024 season.
The amusement park confirmed that the roller coaster’s manufacturer, Zamperla, will not be able to complete the modifications needed to reopen the coaster this season.
“We are extremely disappointed that we cannot open the ride this season, but remain committed to delivering a reliable, consistent and unparalleled coaster experience for our guests in 2025. In the meantime, please accept our sincere apology for the disappointment and inconvenience,” confirmed Cedar Point.
Cedar Point announced in May that the roller coaster would be closed for an indefinite period which will continue into the 2025 season.
