SeaWorld Orlando’s snowmobile-style coaster Penguin Trek is almost ready to open.
The artic-themed family launch coaster will open on 7 July.
An artic journey adventure awaits intrepid riders onboard a unique expedition through the polar landscapes.
“Penguin Trek offers a unique blend of thrills and education, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the wonders of Antarctica while highlighting our dedication to wildlife preservation and family-friendly fun,” said Jon Peterson, President of SeaWorld Orlando.
The indoor/outdoor ride begins with guests entering a sea and research station. Guests will then enter a frosty entrance hall before boarding snowmobile-style vehicles and journey through an Antarctic landscape.
Two launches propel riders up to 43mph along a 3,020-foot track.
Penguin Trek takes over the space formerly occupied by Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin at the newly opened Antarctica Realm.
