PNE Playland in Canada is awaiting the launch of its new high thrill roller coaster ThunderVolt.
When open, the ride will become the fastest electric coaster in Canada.
The ride is being built by Zamperla and PNE Playland have announced that the ride is scheduled to be open in July with an opening date announced in the middle of June.
ThunderVolt comes with a novel realise in that it has been named by fans taking part in a competition earlier this year.
The ride features a three-car train taking12 passengers at a time. Riders will experience a 1.3 G force as it shoots through an illuminated tunnel, up a steep incline and down an 18-metre (59ft) drop.
The coaster will cover some 380m (1,247ft) of track which takes up the site of the Corkscrew coaster.
