The World’s Tallest & Fastest Triple-Launch Strata Coaster, Tope Thrill 2, has officially crossed the line to take its first checkered flag with a successful debut spin out.
Riders enjoyed their first runs onboard since its transformative makeover. Now, riders are launched three times, propelled to reach the sky.
Top Thrill 2 now features three “free-fall” moments, including a fan-favourite “rollback” after you’re first launched forward. After that, riders are launched backward and rise into the sky along the new spike tower. And finally, a third launch propels you forward at 120 mph, sending riders over the 420-foot top hat and spiral down to a jubilant finish line.
The ride has been revolutionarily redeveloped by Zamperla in which Top Thrill 2 is the second coming of a ride which is beloved for many a ride since its inception as Top Thrill Dragster. Fast forward to now and Top Thrill 2 has come to fruition in a stratospheric way.
Cedar Point’s new thrill ride gives two minutes of pure adrenaline and a phenomenal top thrill.
