The upcoming Epic Universe, due to open in 2025 and created by Universal Orlando, is set to be bigger than originally planned.
It is expected that the hugely anticipated park will be nearly double in size when it opens – covering a size of 1,300 acres as opposed to the 700 acres when the project commenced.
It is anticipated that a new attraction will take its place in the enlarged area such as a water park or entertainment venue.
Epic Universe will transport guests into five magical worlds, journeying through Celestial Park, Super Nintendo World, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter’s Ministry of Magic, How to Train Your Dragon’s Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe.
