Austrian amusement park Fantasiana Erlebnispark Straßwalchen have constructed a wild swing thanks to work from German manufacturer ART Engineering.
The attraction consists of a 12-metre-high swing, suitable for families. The concept is similar to a smaller version of the top spin.
However, the gondola, with two rows of eight seats, does not roll over. Passengers only rock up and down while the gondola is rotated and assisted of two electric motors.
For the ride comfort, we used separate foam seats with hip bars that close from above,” says the builder. “This ensures a comfortable position for all occupants.”
At Fantasiana park, the swing has replaced a pirate ship, which was dismantled last winter. Pendola, will be equipped with a moving doll from supplier Hüttinger Animatronics.
Last year, the Austrian park also opened an ART Engineering attraction with the family roller coaster Fridolin’s Verrückter Zauberexpress.、And a second wild swing is already under construction. It will open in the German theme park Potts Park Minden, named Klippenschleuder.
