Legoland Windsor Resort have unveiled miniature Lego models of their new royal neighbours, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their family.

The Lego scene features a ‘Royal Removals’ service and celebrates the news of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge moving to Adelaide Cottage in Berkshire this September.

Built using a total of 4,100 Lego bricks, The Duke and Duchess can be found outside the impressive 39,000 Lego brick creation of Windsor Castle alongside their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis and their family dog Orla.

The royal scene took two Model Makers 19 hours to complete; the children were each made from 20 Lego bricks, play with the family dog, made from just 15 Lego bricks.

Guests can see the new royal scene as part of Miniland – on display complete with grand piano, Grandfather clock and children’s toy box until the end of autumn.

Paula Laughton, Chief Model Maker at Legoland Windsor Resort, said: “The Resort has always had a special connection with the Royal family so to welcome our new neighbours, our talented Model Makers are giving the royals a brick-tastic housewarming present by recreating the family in miniature form.

“The Royal Removal scene will go on display throughout September, and we hope to welcome the Duke and Duchess and their family to the Resort to see their figures very soon!”
