Construction of China’s Zhejiang Fantasy Harbour cultural tourism project begins

Construction has started for the ambitious cultural tourism project known as Zhejiang Fantasy Harbour. The commercial tourism complex is located in Zhejiang Dongtou District, China.

With an investment of 3bn yuan (approx. US$0.42bn), the site will combine entertainment with tourism, integrating commercial, cultural and sports events.

The area covers around 4,000,000 sq. mt, including land and water. This vast area will feature a boutique resort hotel, an undersea world, coastal cabana, ecological dike, artificial sandy beach, eco-farming, a marina for yachts, and many other facilities.

Phase one of the project include the sandy beach are expected to open in 2021.
