First SlideWheel attraction in Europe opens at Aquapark Reda, Poland

Wiegand.waterrides, a leading provider of water rides and attractions, recently opened its first SlideWheel attraction in Europe.

The SlideWheel, named the Aquaspinner, opened at Aquapark Reda in Poland on January 10, 2020.

Wiegand.waterrides’ award-winning SlideWheel product combines the excitement of a waterslide with the thrill of a Ferris wheel. Guests are flung in backward movements and though pendulum actions as they’re taken to heights that provide impressive views below, while simultaneously experiences sudden feelings of G-force and weightlessness.

At a height of 27.7mt., the Aquaspinner is the highest SlideWheel to be created by Wiegand.waterrides so far.

The attraction comprises of four-person rafts which race through a tube and has a capacity of up to 470 guests per hour.

Wiegand.waterrides designs and constructs diverse types of attractions for waterparks, including wave slides, play towers, trough slides, pendulum slides, tube slides and other attractions for children’s water play areas.

In 2019, the water ride innovators picked up a Brass Ring Award at IAAPPA Expo in Orlando. The SlideCoaster won an award for the most innovative product concept.
