The largest outdoor freshwater swimming pool in Canada is to launch a new floating waterpark.

FunSplash has been approved by the town council to be built at St. Marys’ quarry. The inflatable waterpark will feature 25 different obstacles, designed to challenge visitors in a safe and fun environment.

Stephanie Ische, director of community services for the town of St. Marys, commented on the decision to launch an inflatable waterpark at the popular outdoor pool: “We are extremely excited to be offering this attraction at the quarry. The FunSplash will add a whole new dimension to the quarry experience, and we can’t wait for patrons to try in out this summer.”

FunSplash is operated and owned by the family-run attraction specialists, PT Watersports, which saw the quarry as the perfect place for a FunSplash site.

As Teresa Jackson, marketing director at PT Waterpsorts, said: “St. Marys is a beautiful for FunSplash. We feel that this attraction will complement the area very well and look forward to being a part of the community.”
