Gigantosaurus Land will be a reality as construction will soon begin at the dinosaur themed adventure park of ROARR!
ROARR! have confirmed that it will be the biggest expansion in the park’s history.
With plans approved, construction will commence next year ahead of a May 2024 scheduled opening.
The park have confirmed that they expect visitor numbers to increase from 300,000 per year to a maximum of 500,000 annually.
The newly themed area will cover four acres and it will take inspiration from the Gigantosaurus animated series found on Disney+ and Netflix.
The park have stated there will be three phrases to the project.
The first phase will be the construction of a vertical volcano themed drop ride, spinning flower teacups, a water play exhibit, jumping pillow, and a wooden play ‘n’ climb den.
Characters of the series Gigantosaurus Rocky, Bill, Mazu and Tiny will play an important role in allowing children to express themselves through the enjoyment of fun and imagination.
Other attractions include a slide made from Gigantosaurus’ scales and its setting and landscaping of volcanos and greenery will fit with a time when dinosaurs roamed the lands.
For merchandise enthusiasts, Giganotosaurus Land will feature specially themed F&B outlets and a Dino-Store.
To bring the project to reality, award winning theme park designers Katapult and Liz Lake Landscape Architects were sought out by ROARR!
Adam Goymour, Park Director at ROARR! said: “This is a momentous time in ROARR!’s history and we are incredibly excited to begin the next stage of this significant project.
“This has been a four-year project including two years of negotiations with Cyber Group Studios and nine months to obtain planning permission.
“To be working with Cyber Group Studios to bring to life the wonderful world of Gigantosaurus is a privilege and we can’t wait to see our guests’ reactions when they visit this immersive and beautiful new area.”
