Level X aims to be a vibrant indoor entertainment center in the North East.

The new attraction will open in Middlesbrough later this year and will house an indoor go-karting, mini golf, bowling, laser quest, and dodgems all in one building.

Although the new attraction will open at a later date, Level X has promised to open at some point in February – with an exact date set to be announced very soon.

Middlesbrough Mayor Andy Preston discussed with enthusiasm the new venue:

“A new indoor karting track at Captain Cook Square will open soon and will be an awesome leisure complex called Level X that will also host bars, bowling, dodgems, golf, gaming, laser quest, and much more.”

“Bit by bit, we are turning things around and we are making central Middlesbrough a magnet for visitors, business and investment.”

“Despite all the challenges, 2023 & 2024 will see a new Middlesbrough emerge as the regional leader in all things entertainment.”

Meanwhile, CEO Tim Wilks added: “Level X is all about merging the games you loved as a kid with cool tech elements to elevate the experience.

“We have been all over the world looking for the latest and best games with a particular focus on tech and I am confident that we can bring products the UK market has never experienced before.”

“The venues themselves are bigger than we have ever launched before and the fit-outs will be fantastic – with loads of color, different zones, and huge attention to detail.”
