Multiple new and exciting live events are to be hosted at the multi-purpose leisure, shopping and entertainment centre of Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
The upcoming events are a result of a new four-way partnership between real estate management firm Miral, Sportainment Entertainment and Sports, Feld Entertainment, and Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT Abu Dhabi). The three-year partnership deal aims to greatly improve Yas Island’s portfolio of special events and boost the island’s tourism industry.
DCT Abu Dhabi’s Undersecretary, HE Saif Saeed Ghobash, said there will be multiple exciting experiences over the next three years that will: “strengthen the reputation of Abu Dhabi as a leader for world-class events.” The Undersecretary hopes the events will be ‘unforgettable’ as well as increasing visitor numbers to the emirate.
Feld Entertainment’s portfolio of events include the likes of Disney Live!, Marvel Universe Live! and Sesame Street Live!, as well as other popular experiences such as Monster Jam, Monster Energy Supercross, and DreamWorks Trolls: The Experience. At least some of these shows will become exclusive to Yas Island over the next three years.
Among the attractions already present in Abu Dhabi’s leisure and entertainment centre include Warner Bros World, Yas Waterworld and Ferrari World.
