The Montreal Holocaust Museum has been unveiled for an opening date penned in for 2025.
The museum will serve as an education programmed for school children and individuals on the devastation which was the Holocaust, genocide and human rights.
KPMB Architects + Daoust Lestage Lizotte Stecker Architecture have designed the new venue.
Moving from the old venue due to a lack of space, the new museum will cater for exhibition spaces, classrooms, an auditorium, memorial garden and a testimony room.
The Give Voice campaign was crucial to generating the necessary funds towards the new museum.
Heritage Canada and Ministere de la Culture et des Communications du Quebec raised $20m (£13m each).
Meanwhile, the Azrieli Foundation invested $15m (£9.8m) and the City of Montreal. $1.5m (983,000).
To that extent, The Montreal Holocaust Museum has overall raised $85m (£55.7m) of the $90 (£58.9m) target.
