Ready for blast off: Tetrastar Spaceport bound for launch

The National Space Centre are to launch the state-of-the-art on-board experience called Tetrastar Spaceport

Riders will blast off for a mission to mars making for a totally immersive experience.

 

Technology will be at the forefront of the experience with immersive theatre, projection mapping, real-time and touch interactive content and motion all playing a role in the guest experience.

The intrepid space riders will voyage along low Earth orbit before working together to solve various problems in space in order to survive. This includes guests participating in an escape room style game to pass the challenges and ultimately return to earth. 

Tetrastar Spaceport will comprise of four main zones and 10 themed spaces. Its technology will consist of 11 projectors, 47 screens, 45 speakers, and 15 media servers and computers.

National Space Centre’s own in-house immersive production studio, NSC Creative, are to oversee the project.
