TRON Lightcycle run tested ahead of spring opening

Listen to this article

The Magic Kingdom at Disney eagerly await the opening of its much-anticipated ride TRON Lightcycle Run.

And park staff have been seen testing out the attraction in preparation for its launch.

The ride was officially announced 10 January ahead of its glitzy opening on 4 April this spring.

TRON Lightcycle Run was originally scheduled to open in Autumn 2021 but had been postponed due to the worldwide pandemic.

The ride will be similar to the attraction at Shanghai Disneyland and is based on the popular TRON from series.

The attraction will let riders glide over the park and, much like the film, ride through the grid on a light cycle.
