Efteling is gearing up for more winter wonderland fun as its Winter Efteling event returns.
For the 24th time, the fairy-tale theme park will once again be ‘transformed into a winter paradise with crackling bonfires, atmospheric garlands and thousands of sparkling lights.’
Winter Efteling will start on 14 November and, after a two-year hiatus, the park’s ice-skating rink will return.
The Warme Winter Weide, a nostalgic winter garden, is to be extended with the uncovered ice-skating rink, which visitors can enjoy until 5 March 2023.
Efteling have confirmed that The Warme Winter Weide winter garden will feature ‘additional entertainment and heart-warming daily musical offerings alongside warming food and drinks.’
Children will enjoy the escapades of its park mascot Pardoes the Magic Jester and Princess Pardijn, who will welcoming children in a sleigh as well as an appearance from fairy, Fay de Fee, and Pinocchio trying to make it snow.
Visitors are in for a Christmas treat with the acapella music of Zang & Gelukkig. From 10 December, Mister and Madam Time, from theatre show CARO, will perform winter songs on weekends and holidays in the Carousel Palace. A new Witches Camp can be found in the Fairytale Forest and each day will end with spectacular colourful water show Aquanura.
