Progress is being made with the Zhuhai Chimelong Phase II Project as Marine Science Park announced on 7 July the completion of the principal area of construction.

It is slated to be the world’s largest indoor theme park and will enjoy commercial benefits for both cultural and tourism industries in Hengqin and Macau.

Its resemblance to a spaceship is a testament to the vision of the Science Park and it is a modern feat of structural engineering and design.

The Science Park covers 650-metres (2,132ft) with a total construction area of 400,000sq.m.

The park will be made up of a variety of themed areas such as Coral Mystery, Song of the Ocean and Ocean University Hall. It is expected to receive more than 50,000 tourists every day.

The work is fruit or the production of Zhuhai Hengqin Chimelong International Ocean Resort after the Chimelong Ocean Kingdom.

It is reported that after the opening of the second phase of Chimelong Ocean Science Park, projects such as Chimelong Aerial Cable Car and Ocean Adventure Park will be given the green light to become a reality.
