China’s first rideable mechanical giant elephant ‘Super Mammoth’ made its debut at Chimelong Ocean Kingdom in Zhuhai.

Making its bow on 30 July, the structure reaches 13-metres tall, 19-metres long and 7-metres wide.

The mechanical elephant is part of the ‘Super Project’ of Zhuhai Hengqin Chimelong park, undertaking a number of firsts in China thanks to its novel features.

The Super Mammoth is a brand new IP created by Chimelong and took three years from planning to launching.

Its movements are similar to a real elephant and that is thanks to each joint of the Super Mammoth bionic design. Chimelong are to continue creating more members of the behemoth in the future.
