Kentucky Kingdom amusement park in Louisville, Kentucky, US, is to reopen with lower admission costs. The park is to reopen on June 29, and the Hurricane Bay waterpark will open soon after that date.

Stringent hand sanitation, cleaning procedures and safety protocols will be implemented at the park to help ensure a safe experience for guests and employees.

The cost of visiting Kentucky Kingdom is to be lowered, with general admission tickets costing $29.95.

Ed Hart, president and CEO of Kentucky Kingdom, commented on the imminent reopening of the park: “Everyone has a role during these trying times. Kentucky Kingdom’s role is to provide opportunities for summer employment to many high school and college students.

“Equally important, our role is to bring smiles and safe family fun back into the community. That’s what Kentucky Kingdom and Hurricane Bay is all about,” Hart added.
