ASTM F24, the committee on amusement rides and attractions which produces global safety standards for the amusement industry, will be holding three days of meetings from February 12-15, 2014.

All of the meetings will occur at the Riverside Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Approximately 50 separate meetings will be held, each focusing on a specific safety element of the amusement industry. Some 250 people, including the world's leading ride safety experts, are expected to attend.

For the second time, a networking event has been added on the Wednesday evening that is open to all attendees. First-time attendees are especially encouraged to come to the networking event to meet committee heads and learn about the different task groups.

Jim Seay, chairman of ASTM F24 and president of Premier Rides, said: "With F24 membership rapidly moving towards the 1,000 mark, the industry is incredibly fortunate to have so many people volunteering their time to travel from around the globe."
