The Helio Centre, Vietnam's largest family entertainment centre, experienced impressive attendance in its first month of operation, with the park having to turn some people away due to it reaching maximum capacity.

The 157,000sq.ft venue, which opened in Da Nang in February, was designed by White Hutchinson Leisure and Learning Group. It offers guests a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities.

Included in the product mix is a Ballocity play structure, supplied by WhiteWater Attractions, which stands over 21ft tall and offers three levels of exploration with an interactive 'arena' in the centre.

"We're thrilled by the reaction to the centre from the residents of Da Nang," said Randy White, CEO of White Hutchinson. "Although the centre raised its prices by 30% for Tet, they still found themselves turning people away at different times when Helio Centre reached maximum capacity."

The facility employs 600 staff and has a maximum capacity of 4,000 guests.
