Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari is hosting a charitable auction for the first rides on its newest rollercoaster, Good Gravy!

Ride winners will receive two tickets to Holiday World for a future visit and honorary first-ride certificates.

The park says all proceeds raised in the auction will go towards North Spencer Community Action Center, which provides social services, as well as food, clothing, healthcare, and educational programs to Spencer County residents.

The auction runs through until 19th April at noon CDT; Good Gravy!’s debut ride has been set for 3 May.

Guests riding the Good Gravy! is a Vekoma coaster creation. Riders will board a train shaped like a giant gravy boat, which will be pulled backward uphill on a cranberry-coloured track. The train will then fly through a large cranberry jelly can before narrowly avoiding giant kitchen accoutrement, such as a 20-foot-tall whisk and an 18-foot-tall rolling pin before flying up a 77-foot-tall spike and repeating the journey backwards.

Good Gravy! will travel at up to 37mph along a 1,500ft track.
